Inside Sales Representative-Windsor, CT


Job Description: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for processing orders, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and assisting with administrative tasks within the Windsor, CT branch. They will serve as a point of contact for customer service issues and will support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in managing shipping and receiving documentation.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process transfers and purchase orders manually
  • Address discrepancies in accounts payable processes
  • Scan and organize packing slips and pick tickets
  • Manage paperwork flow within the branch
  • Handle incoming calls and provide assistance to customers at the sales counter
  • Enter orders, quotes, credits, and debits accurately into the system
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and effectively


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer usage
  • Previous experience in an office setting preferred
  • Knowledge of the Pipe, Valves, and Fittings (PVF) industry preferred
