Purpose:

Provide a full range of technical training for all product lines, models, components and systems for distributor and customer personnel as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform analysis studies with management, to establish knowledge and skill requirements of distributor personnel to ensure successful performance.

2. Establish and execute a training plan for each technician in accordance with the needs of the individual and the use of the manufactures on-line training programs.

3. Maintain training records of all employees and customers on SharePoint.

4. Conduct basic and up to date technical training as required for all technicians consistent with their individual learning needs. This responsibility is to be met by supplementing their expertise with that of service department personnel and manufacturing representatives.

5. Conduct basic and up to date customer training and operator training, tailored to meet the customer’s specific needs. Assist sales department in machine demonstrations and deliveries as needed and as requested.

6. Conduct Parts Training in the areas of product knowledge, consistent to the identified needs of the parts managers and manufacturer representatives.

7. Conduct safety training as required by MSHA and OSHA.

8. Establish and maintain liaison with the training departments of all the manufacturers that Roland Machinery are representing.

9. Establish and maintain a library of all appropriate training materials.

10. Provide technical support and technical communication for all departments including in field or shop assistance when required.
