This company are a leading developer in renewables and energy storage and are well know across North America. They are actively seeking a Development Manager out of their Houston office.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow renewable energy generation assets
  • Site and permit utility-scale solar and/or wind projects
  • Manage resources for project development
  • Structure and oversee projects to financial close/start of construction
  • Monitor business, regulatory, and competitive landscapes
  • Lead and develop teams effectively
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Onsite presence in Houston, TX, and travel to project sites as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, land use planning, business, or related fields
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in renewable project development, preferably in solar and/or wind, or 5-10 years in relevant sectors
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Independent work ethic and leadership in project management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
