We are also hiring an Inspector NICET III at the same location.

 

Duties:

  1. Ability to lead and supervise construction inspectors.
  2. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  3. Perform construction inspection.
  4. Ensure contractor’s compliance with project WZTC (or MPT) requirements.
  5. Prepare Inspector’s daily work reports using Site Manager Software.
  6. Communicate with supervisors to keep them aware of field issues.

 

Requirements

  1. Minimum of eight years of bridge/highway construction inspection experience on NYSDOT and/or TBTA projects
  2. NICET IV Certification or equivalent.
  3. ACI Field Technician Level 1 and Traffic Control certifications a plus
  4. OSHA 10-hour training certification
  5. NYSDOT Site Manager Experience Required
  6. Computer Literate and good writing and communication skills
  7. Positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn.
  8. Willingness to work night shift and irregular hours.
  9. Must have NYSDOT driver’s License and personal vehicle to commute to work.
