Kelly Engineering is seeking candidates for an 8 month project with our client in the semiconductor industry. There are both Field Service Technician and Field Service Engineer roles open.


Field Service Technicians

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of Electro-mechanical experience
  • Open to multiple industries including aerospace, heavy industrial, semi-conductor, HVAC, manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Install, uninstall, and qualify client’s Proprietary Semiconductor Equipment for high precision interconnection technology for IC Packaging. Specificity, Back-end Assembly Equipment on Chip to Wafer or Chip to Substrate bonding
  • Analyze, interpret, and make critical decision on process and equipment related issues.
  • Interface with customers to ensure technical issues are addressed on a timely manner.
  • Provide technical training at customers facility.
  • Support machine Installation and Qualification (IQ) activities.


Field Service Engineers

Requirements

  • AA Degree is a must
  • Semiconductor experience is a must
  • 3+ years of electro-mechanical experience

Responsibilities

  • Leading complex equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
  • Experience with networking, SQL databases and servers
  • Proven experience and strong affinity for working with SW tools.
  • Proven experience analyzing and interpreting large amounts of complex data (i.e., bug reports, production data)
  • Providing complex product and service training to customers
  • Leading and participating in complex service calls and interfacing with customers personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
  • Leading assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and design modifications or improvements.
  • Performs complex and technically demanding work within a technical area.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and consult on potential problems and provide effective solutions in relation to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
  • Providing expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff, other Field Service team members and train other employees as needed.
