My client is a national environmental and engineering consulting services firm who is seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer or Geologist. They have a unique opportunity for a Principal level professional to LEAD their Site Assessment and Remediation practice in Northern California.


In this role, you will


  • Serve as the office technical SME for environmental site assessment and remediation projects
  • Cultivate new client relationships, maintain current relationships, and drive project growth
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and geologists
  • Partner with Executive Leadership to grow the Northern California office
  • Contribute to company wide goals and initiatives


Qualifications


  • Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in environmental engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or related fields
  • Licensure as a P.E. or P.G.
  • Expertise in site assessment and remediating contaminated sites
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting
  • Proven success in business development, leading environmental projects, and developing/maintaining client relationships
  • Ability to lead and grow an office
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • A commitment to professional and intellectual growth
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
