Overview:


This is a full-time hybrid role for our office in Miami. As the Head of Capital Markets for our Real Estate Private Lending company, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, management, and deployment of capital to support our lending activities. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to ensure the availability of capital, managing risk, and optimizing the capital structure to drive business growth and profitability.


Responsibilities:


  1. Capital Sourcing: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with sources of capital, including institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
  2. Funding Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to secure capital resources that align with the company's lending needs and growth objectives.
  3. Deal Structuring: Collaborate with internal teams to structure financing solutions that meet the needs of borrowers while optimizing risk-adjusted returns.
  4. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and inform lending decisions.
  5. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing lending activities.
  6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, investors, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of lending portfolios, prepare reports and presentations for senior management and investors.
  8. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and growth initiatives for the company's lending business.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Availability to travel as needed.
  3. A minimum 5 years proven experience in capital markets, investment banking, or real estate finance, with a focus on real estate lending.
  4. Strong understanding of financial markets, capital structures, and risk management principles.
  5. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess complex financial transactions and identify strategic opportunities.
  6. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices in real estate lending.
  9. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
  10. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis software.
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities and market conditions.
