BTV Marketing Group is seeking an Account Director to lead in the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns for our client partners.


In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact between our client partners and the agency deliverable team to manage the efficient execution of strategies and deliverables for a select number of managed accounts.


Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day interfacing between client partners and the agency
  • Create and dynamically manage account strategies, leading projects from conception to final execution
  • Establish goals and objectives for internal teams to follow
  • Lead in-person and virtual calls between the agency and client partner to actively manage agendas, roles, expectations, takeaways and next steps 
  • Manage client partner invoicing to ensure prompt and accurate processing
  • Support growing client partners’ businesses by identifying opportunities, presenting to client partner, and gaining client partner approval
  • QA deliverables before presenting or sending to the client partner for approval and/or implementation
  • Support in the partner development of the agency including the preparation of audits, presentations, statements of work and other agency sales materials
  • Provide expertise on clients partners’ businesses and their industries and share this knowledge with execution team members
  • Oversee client partner budgets and forecasts
  • Foresee client problems before they happen and provide insights to the team on how to head them off
  • Ensure client partners are receiving all agreed-upon services – on time and within budget
  • Oversee the quality of all work provided to client partner, ensuring it is staying on brand and within guidelines
  • Foster a productive and empowering working relationship with all team members working on client accounts


Skills/Experience:

  • A bachelor’s in marketing, communication or a related discipline or:
  • 5 year or more of marketing account or project management experience 
  • 5 years or more of marketing experience
  • Experience with project management and agency communication tools (ex. Asana, Slack, Google Meet/Zoom, Google Drive tools: Slides, Sheets, etc.)
  • Experience managing paid media spend in excess of $100k/mo across multiple platforms and brand accounts
  • Intermediate level knowledge of the core principles of Earned, Owned and Paid Media
  • Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Looker Studio experience
  • Ability to craft executive level reporting summaries based on larger reporting data and insights provided by the agency deliverable teams 
  • Ability to form insights related to client partner reporting and provide actionable feedback and recommendations to the agency and client partner teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex client partners' accounts and expertly set client partner and agency team expectations
  • Ability to foresee challenges/issues with client partner accounts before they happen and propose solutions
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal account team members to create a productive, collaborative work environment for your partner services account teams
