Logistics CoordinatorThe Logistics Coordinator will manage various stages of sales shipments and orders, specifically focusing on Food and Meat products. This role involves collaborating with sales representatives, vendors, and government departments such as customs to ensure proper shipment and receipt of products. The coordinator will utilize internal systems and Oracle to track detailed and accurate information, essential for international transactions adhering to diverse regulations. Additionally, compiling and using original documents for international tracking is a key component of this position.Responsibilities:Coordinate multiple steps of sales shipments and orders for Food and Meat products.Collaborate with sales reps, vendors, and government departments to ensure proper shipment and receipt of products.Utilize internal systems and Oracle for tracking shipment and client information.Ensure compliance with international regulations by maintaining detailed and accurate records.Compile and use original documents for international tracking.Essential Skills:Administrative supportData entryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and ExcelDetail-orientedProblem-solving and critical thinkingAbility to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in importing and exporting products, understanding of shipping and logistics.2-3 years of experience in a related field or 1 year removed from college with a related degree (Business, Operations, Analytics, etc.).Knowledge of international shipping is a plus.Work Environment:This position is located in Downtown SLC and requires onsite work from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The Logistics Coordinator will work alongside a team lead and 2-3 other team members.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
