We are working with a rapidly growing renewable energy company to find a skilled Plant Operator for a state-of-the-art Renewable Natural Gas facility where they harness the power of nature's most organic fuel source If you possess an electrical background and/or have operations & maintenance experience, we would love to speak with you about this opportunity


Responsibilities

  • Monitor the operation of anaerobic digesters, gas purification systems, and other plant equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Adjust and maintain process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and pH levels to maximize gas production
  • Operate various plant equipment and machinery, including pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, generators, etc.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues or malfunctions
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and gas composition
  • Keep accurate records of O&M activities
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations


Requirements

  • HS Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of industrial electrical & mechanical experience (motors, blowers, controls & pumps)
  • PLC experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of anaerobic digesters, gas compression, chromatographs, flow meters is preferred
  • Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
