Controls Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for a variety of projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial automation applications. Create and modify PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems and instrumentation. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and other departments to integrate control solutions. Develop technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials. Conduct on-site analysis and provide technical support during installation and commissioning of control systems. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support project management activities. Travel expectations. Qualifications: 2 or 4 year degree in an engineering concentration. 1-3 years of experience in controls engineering or a related field. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development. Strong knowledge of control theory, automation, and instrumentation. Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus). Familiarity with various software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience in the supply chain, manufacturing, or material handling industry. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
