Job OverviewKareer Katalyst is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. This role requires designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for various projects.

About the RoleWe are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in controls engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols. Additionally, proficiency in various software tools such as AutoCAD and MATLAB is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial automation applications.
  • Create and modify PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Provide on-site analysis and technical support during installation and commissioning of control systems.

Qualifications
  • A degree in an engineering concentration (2 or 4 years).
  • 1-3 years of experience in controls engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory, automation, and instrumentation.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
  • Familiarity with various software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and relevant experience. This figure may vary depending on location, qualifications, and other factors.
