Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as the domain expert in market access, providing insights and guidance on strategic initiatives.

Develop and refine market access strategies for new and existing products based on comprehensive market analysis.

Possess in-depth knowledge of various market access domain areas, including contracting in pharma, inventory, and supply chain processes within pharma companies.

Understand and analyze payer and provider analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Have a thorough understanding of pharma business processes, including regulatory requirements, pricing strategies, and reimbursement mechanisms.

Identify potential new projects and define their scope by analyzing market needs and opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Analyze the existing data ecosystem to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Utilize data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.

Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to track market access performance.

Study market patterns and trends to understand the competitive landscape and external environment.

Monitor activities and strategies of competitors and other industry players outside of J&J.

Provide regular updates and insights on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

Generate innovative ideas and suggestions for new projects and initiatives based on market analysis and data insights.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in market access activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, providers, and regulatory bodies.

Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in market access and related fields.

Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and network with industry professionals.

Contribute to the development of training programs and materials to educate internal teams on market access strategies and best practices.

Collaborate with business and stake holders to gather additional insights and support strategic initiatives.

Evaluate the impact of market access strategies and initiatives on business performance and make recommendations for improvements.
