The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Purchasing a wide range of services such as supplies, parts, tools and materials needed to keep operations running smoothly
  • Work with vendors
  • Handle purchase orders, month ends, negotiating with suppliers, emergency orders as well as documentation
  • Collaborate with teams within the manufacturing space and accounting


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Help with last minute orders


Nice to have

  • Experience with raw materials and/or production planning to back up other team members as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management
  • Minimum Jr-mid level experience, ideally Sr level
