Salary Range: $72-80K

Vaco has partnered with a dynamic, fast-growing, partner-owned wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth families, single-family offices, foundations, and endowments. With over 20 offices, their services extend beyond investment advice to include tax planning and compliance, insurance and risk management, lifestyle management, wealth and estate planning, trust services, and philanthropy.

Job Description: The Client Service Associate will assist the Client Advisory Team with various client service tasks, daily operations, administrative duties, and special projects. Responsibilities include preparing performance analysis, investment manager background checks, and client presentation materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Client Advisory Team in communicating and implementing client investment strategies.
  • Draft letters of instruction, complete account applications, manager agreements, and fund subscription documents, and organize supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with the firm's Capital Markets Group throughout the process.
  • Serve as an information provider to accountants, banks, investment managers, and other professionals supporting clients.
  • Provide additional support during the quarterly reporting process, including reconciling and reviewing client reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CFP certification preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in the financial management industry.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an understanding of time-sensitive issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Comfort in speaking with clients and their professional contacts about money movement, account openings, trades, and daily operations.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to prioritize tasks amidst competing demands.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of investments, including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives.
