The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for researching, identifying, and pursuing new sales opportunities within a specific assigned region. The Sales Manager will have a command of all products and services and the ability to effectively demonstrate this to prospective customers. The ultimate goal of the successful Sales Manager is to secure new business as demonstrated by producing fully executed contracts. Extensive travel (up to 50%) is expected and must live within commutable distance from major airport in Milwaukee, Detroit or Minneapolis.ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed territory growth targets within established accounts on a quarterly and annual basisConduct market research and develops a regional strategy for business growth by adding new customersIndependently identify and pursue leads for new business at the local, state, and federal levelDevelop and deliver presentations and demonstrate GPS products and software to a variety of customers and potential customersProvide customer feedback to management and make constructive recommendations on required and/or desired enhancements to products and servicesManage Value Added Resellers to insure maximum performanceRespond to various requests for proposals, invitations to bid, and other acquisition processes in a complete and timely mannerComplete biweekly sales activity reports and sales forecast in a timely and complete mannerWork closely with account management staff to ensure existing contract renewalAttend trade shows, conferences, quarterly meetings, and other work-related eventsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid driver's licenseExperience in developing presentation material, making presentations, conducting training, and managing accountsMinimum of five (5) years of sales, account management, or criminal justice electronic monitoring experienceMicrosoft Office training a plusAbility to gain a thorough command of and ability to effectively demonstrate all company products and servicesStrong oral, written, and presentation skillsExcellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite applicationsAbility to develop and implement effective sales plansDrive to take active role in self-developmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work and communicate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service and Management staffAbility to work effectively in a sales team environmentHighest personal and professional ethics and integrityProficiency with Sales CRM systemsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Communication, or related field of studyPrevious experience working with criminal justice agenciesExperience in project management and account managementBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance, Enrollment in our company's 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements, Ten paid holidays annually, accrued sick time up to 200 hours max, Five PTO Days, Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
