About the role:
The Licensing and Onboarding Program is the first step in the life cycle of a Financial Professional at 49 Financial. Once incoming financial professionals have accepted an offer, they will be required to complete financial licensing to become a financial professional before they start in the office. The Licensing and Onboarding Program is the program designed to get these candidates through their licensing and into the office by their designated start date. The Licensing and Onboarding Specialist will manage a pipeline of incoming financial professionals as they obtain the necessary licensing to start at 49 Financial.
The Bridge Specialist works under the guidance of the SVP of Field Operations and Compliance for their operational duties. The Licensing and Onboarding Specialist’s primary responsibility is to manage individuals in our Licensing and Onboarding Program.
What you’ll do:
• Understand, Manage and be responsible for licensing requirements for each state in which 49 Financial operates in
• Provide support, guidance and direction to candidates in the testing process for all required industry examinations
• Be the first point of contact for all questions, from both candidates and field leaders, on program requirements and specifics
• Responsible for staying up to date on new State Insurance Exam Requirements and updating program guidelines accordingly
• Responsible for maintaining and updating all program materials, guides and collateral used in the program
• Work cross-functionally with sales reporting and accounting to ensure accurate and timely data is being captured and communicated
• Assist in the candidate onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition from the bridge to start date for candidates
• Assist in onboarding process and experience being called upon to schedule, communicate and coordinate onboarding for new starters
• Own end-to-end process testing and licensing process
• Partner with Field Leaders to give feedback and updates on testing candidates
• Maintaining accurate data on the health of the program
• Manage all vendor relationships in association with testing and Licensing and Onboarding program
• Handle a high volume of tasks and candidates throughout to Licensing and Onboarding program
• Exhibit excellent follow through, follow up and proactive attitude in managing the pipeline
• Provide a high level of data accuracy in Licensing and Onboarding tracking systems
• Manage deadlines and progress of candidates to ensure they are advancing at a constant pace for timely start dates
What you’ll need:
• Be administratively minded: organization and time management to manage multiple tasks, often for multiple projects, at once
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail to ensure all specifications are met
• Problem-solving abilities to identify any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results
• Good knowledge of Excel

• State Insurance License and FINRA exam desired
• 2 years experience in the financial services industry, exam prep experience preferred
