Vancouver, United States Tbwa ChiatDay Inc Full time

Later is founded on two success stories that began in 2014: Mavrck, the industry-leading influencer marketing solution (now Later Influence), and Later, the best social media management platform (now Later Social) and first-to-market link in bio tool, Later Link in Bio. In 2024, Mavrck and Later officially joined together as one unified business, with a shared vision: to enable the world to make a living with their creativity. We’re now on a mission to build the world’s first Social Revenue Platform.

We’re trusted by the top social platforms, with partnerships and integrations with Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.

We enable marketers to create high-performing content and engage in authentic collaborations with creators to reach new audiences, drive engagement, and generate predictable ROI.

About this position:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Partnerships to join our growing enterprise sales team. This pivotal role will drive strategic growth through partnerships, enabling our organization to expand its footprint and deliver exceptional value to enterprise clients. You will work cross-functionally to develop and execute partnership strategies that fuel revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and position us as a leader in the industry.

What you‘ll be doing:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership and enterprise sales strategy that aligns with our company‘s overall goals and vision.
  • Identify and prioritize key market opportunities to drive revenue growth through strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our offerings remain competitive and innovative.
Technical / Execution:
  • Build a robust pipeline of prospects across the U.S., focusing on large enterprise brands and their agency partners.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs in creator/influencer marketing, branded content, and measurement.
  • Drive substantial new business growth while expanding and deepening relationships with accounts.
  • Cultivate long-term, impactful relationships with senior-level marketers and decision-makers at leading brands and agencies.
  • Present Later’s platform to top-tier enterprise brands and ad agencies, highlighting its ability to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead high-impact negotiations with enterprise clients and partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Design and refine scalable sales processes to optimize deal velocity and enhance partner satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with other departments to align partnership goals with broader business objectives, ensuring all teams are equipped to deliver on commitments.
  • Act as a key liaison between partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Serve as a thought leader and company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and key client meetings.
  • Influence and shape the direction of the business through your insights, expertise, and leadership.
Research / Best Practices:
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, leveraging data and insights to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses to ensure we are effectively positioned in the enterprise market.
  • Advocate for and implement tools and resources to support data-driven decision-making across the partnerships team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development, with leadership experience in scaling teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven success in negotiating and closing large, complex deals, particularly in the creator economy, social media marketing, or influencer marketing space.
  • Expertise in the creator economy and a deep understanding of social media and influencer marketing trends.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of developing impactful partnership agreements.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics to drive decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
How you work:
  • You’re proactive and results-driven, always taking initiative, aligning your actions with company goals, and delivering consistent outcomes.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking, you balance immediate needs with long-term opportunities to drive impactful, innovative results.
  • Your curiosity fuels success, keeping you sharp on industry trends, competition, and our cross-functional business dynamics.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, you handle shifting priorities with ease, manage your time effectively, and know when to ask for support.
  • You share insights to help the team stay ahead and make informed decisions.
  • You bring positivity and resilience to every challenge, tackling obstacles with grit and optimism that inspires those around you.
  • You lead with emotional intelligence, building trust, supporting others, encouraging growth, and fostering strong relationships through empathy and collaboration.
