Position Overview

The Automated Test Framework Engineer will develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF), ensuring comprehensive test coverage and quality of ServiceNow applications. This role involves collaborating with developers and stakeholders, executing and analyzing tests, troubleshooting issues, and recommending improvements to test processes and frameworks while staying current with ServiceNow ATF best practices. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Automated Test Framework (CIS-ATF) certifications required


Duties

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the quality of ServiceNow application
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data as needed to ensure proper operation of the requested change, enhancement, or program
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test
  • Provide recommendations for improving test processes and framework
  • Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in ServiceNow AT

Required Skill

  • 8+ years of working knowledge of ServiceNow
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow ATF experience
  • At least 2 years of supporting ATF test scripts after deployment
  • At least one implementation of AT
  • Hands-on working experience as a teste
  • For a ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) position, the ideal certifications would focus on both the foundational knowledge of ServiceNow as well as specialized skills in automation and testing

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Automated Test Framework (CIS-ATF)

Preferred Certification

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Application Portfolio Management (CIS-APM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted
