The future of cybersecurity starts with you.About the RoleCrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Federal Capture Manager to lead strategic capture efforts and proposal development for significant federal opportunities across civilian, defense, and intelligence community agencies. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing winning capture strategies and compelling proposals for high-priority federal pursuits, typically ranging from $5M to $30M+.What You'll DoLead end-to-end capture planning and execution for major federal opportunities, including development of comprehensive capture plans and win strategiesOrchestrate cross-functional capture teams including solutions architects, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, technical SMEs and general Federal GTM teamsConduct competitive analysis and develop discriminating solutions that align with customer mission requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with key federal customer stakeholders, partners, and industry influencersLead and contribute to proposal writing efforts, ensuring compliance with RFP requirementsDevelop compelling executive summaries, management approaches, and past performance volumesReview and edit technical volumes for clarity, consistency, and persuasivenessParticipate in team reviews and implement reviewer recommendationsEnsure proposal themes and win strategies are effectively incorporated throughout submissionsQualify and validate strategic opportunities through market research and customer engagementDevelop and maintain opportunity pipelines with accurate documentation in SalesforceLead reviews and competitive assessments to inform capture strategiesGuide solution development and pricing strategies to optimize competitive positionImplement industry best practices for capture management and proposal developmentMaintain capture artifacts and knowledge management systemsContribute to continuous improvement of capture and proposal processesWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in federal business development/capture managementProven track record of leading successful captures of large federal opportunities ($5M+)Exceptional proposal writing and editing skillsDeep understanding of federal procurement processes and regulationsStrong knowledge of the federal cybersecurity landscapeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership abilities and experience working within cross-functional teamsBonus PointsMaster's degree in relevant fieldAPMP certificationExperience with major IDIQ vehicles (e.g., SEWP, CIO-SP3, Alliant 2)Prior experience in cybersecurity industryShipley or equivalent capture management trainingExperience with federal pricing strategies and cost proposalsProven success rate in proposal win ratioTop Secret Clearance preferredBenefits of Working at CrowdStrikeRemote-friendly and flexible work cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsComprehensive physical and mental wellness programsCompetitive vacation and holidays for rechargePaid parental and adoption leavesProfessional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or roleEmployee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connectionsVibrant office culture with world class amenitiesGreat Place to Work Certified across the globeCrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
