As a National Account Manager with VGM HOMELINK, you will partner directly with our clients providing superior customer service and supporting HOMELINK's full line of products and services to assigned national accounts (i.e. insurance carriers, TPAs, employers). Residence within the southern or western regions of the United States is strongly preferred (CA, AZ, NM, NV, UT, TX) to best serve our clients in those areas.The ideal National Account Manager candidate will have proven experience in an account management role, specifically within the workers compensation or group health insurance industries along with knowledge of managed care and understanding of specialty or PPO networks. The ability to build business relationships while driving account growth is key to success in the role.Reports To: VP of Account Management within VGM HOMELINKWorking Location: Remote within the Southern or Western regions of the United States (CA, AZ, NM, NV, UT, TX). Frequent travel is required.Working Hours Classification: Full-Time, 40+ hours per weekResponsibilities/Duties of the National Account Manager:Identify best ways to exceed revenue goal for each assigned National AccountReview client contracts and plan for renewals. Seek to extend length of agreements and expand our products whenever possiblePro-actively review our pricing with National Accounts to determine if changes are needed. Evaluate revenue impact for potential changesIdentify main National Account client contacts and work within Homelink to make sure relationships are maintained by multiple levels of our organizationIdentify partnership enhancement opportunities (i.e. systems interface) with National Accounts and pursue until implementationReview business with National Accounts by HOMELINK product and region and seek opportunities to expandWork with Homelink Regional Marketing Reps to make sure they are working with National Account contacts in their regionConduct/lead regular stewardship meetings with National AccountsMake sure HOMELINK is promoting the value we provide to National AccountsIdentify main service issues for National Accounts and work to eliminate or minimizeProcess for monitoring handling individual issues that come upMonitoring and resolving issues that recur and developing plan to prevent them from occurringIssue escalation processMonitor Accounts Receivable issues for each National Account and assist in resolving issues as neededParticipate in sales training sessionsAssist with new employee trainingFollows strict confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security guidelinesNational Account Manager Qualifications:3+ years experience in account management or sales-related role3+ years experience in workers' compensation or group health insurance industriesAdvanced understanding of specialty and PPO networks and managed careBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferredMust comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirementsPhysical Requirements:Working at a physical desk, moving about the office and facility as needed for workOperation of office machinery and equipmentVisual abilities to include reading, distance vision, and peripheral visionAbility to travel 50% of the time for regular client visits, or to VGM headquarters as neededCompensation Overview: The annual compensation range provided for this position is a nationwide market range that represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
