We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Social Media, specializing in User Generated Content (UGC) and Influencer Marketing, to lead our social media efforts and drive brand engagement, community growth, and revenue generation across various platforms. As the Director of Social Media, you will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive strategies to leverage user-generated content and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand awareness and drive business results.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a holistic social media strategy that encompasses user-generated content and influencer marketing initiatives, aligning with overarching business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and strategic direction to drive executional excellence and maximize performance.
  • Define and establish best practices, guidelines, and processes for soliciting, curating, and leveraging user-generated content across social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand identity, messaging, and quality standards.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with brand advocates, satisfied customers, and loyal followers to encourage the creation and sharing of user-generated content that showcases Closet World products and inspires audience engagement.
  • Lead influencer marketing efforts, including identification, recruitment, and management of influencers and brand ambassadors, as well as the development and execution of strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, creative, product, and sales teams, to integrate user-generated content and influencer marketing initiatives into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop and manage influencer marketing budgets, negotiate contracts and partnerships, and track and measure campaign performance to ensure ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing, user-generated content, and influencer marketing, and leverage innovative approaches to maintain competitive advantage and drive results.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to user-generated content and influencer marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and refinement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on social media performance, campaign results, and strategic recommendations for growth and improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on user-generated content and influencer marketing, preferably in a consumer-facing or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that drive brand engagement, community growth, and revenue generation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and mentoring a team of social media specialists and coordinators.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for leveraging user-generated content and influencer partnerships to achieve business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to measure performance and inform strategy.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with influencer management platforms, social media analytics tools, and content creation tools is a plus.
