Job Opportunity: Contract Robot Programmer

Are you an experienced Robot Programmer with a passion for automation and robotics? We have an exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled individual to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and manage robots, particularly Fanuc models.
  • Handle robotic processing tasks including the operation of dispense applicators, sealers, urethane, and paint systems.
  • Conduct robotic simulations using RoboGuide (Fanuc), RobotStudio (ABB), and SimPro (Kuka).
  • Perform light machine builds, including the development of end effectors.
  • Design and troubleshoot hardware and software; interpret electrical schematics.
  • Review and validate mechanical designs and End-of-Arm Tools (EOAT) related to robots.
  • Follow project-specific instructions from the Project Manager.
  • Provide field service and support as needed.
  • Write detailed operation manuals for projects.
  • Deliver training sessions at customer facilities when required.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Adhere to the Customer Quality Management System standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in automation or a related field, or equivalent education.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
