Keep Every Paycheck Perfect PeopleShare is now hiring a Payroll Specialist If you're detail-driven, tech-savvy, and love seeing the numbers line up just right, this is your opportunity to make an impact on a dynamic and growing team Payroll Specialist Job Details Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM Pay Rate: $26/hour Direct Hire Opportunity Payroll Specialist Responsibilities Process bi-monthly, multi-site payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance Handle payroll-related deductions, including garnishments, liens, child support, and voluntary deductions Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate financial records Partner with Human Resources on employee pay and benefits matters Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll data integrity Support audits, special projects, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency Payroll Specialist Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting or payroll experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (Paycom preferred) Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism, discretion, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment PeopleShare provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, age, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic disposition, neurodiversity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected category or class under federal, state, and/or local laws.
