Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability criteria.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while optimizing working capital.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of purchased materials.
  • Resolve supplier issues, disputes, and quality concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of Metal Stamping.
  • Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings and value creation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • SAP platform experience is mandatory as well as Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
