UNIX Operations team is searching for a candidate who is proficient within LINUX (Red Hat). The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in systems administration, along with knowledge of physical infrastructure and hardware such as Dell PowerEdge M/R servers. This candidate will provide LINUX support of around 400 servers. We are looking for an effective communicator and a problem-solving individual with attention to detail. Job Requirements – Essential:

· RHEL Linux 8/7 administration/patch management.

· Linux Server builds and custom configurations.

· Performance tuning of Oracle database servers.

· Server Security vulnerability management.

· SolarWinds monitoring.

· Ansible tower management and upgrades.

· VMware operational knowledge.

· Experience in automation skills

· Server migrations skills

· Troubleshooting skills

· Strong skills in TCP/IP networking, network topology, and firewalled environments.


Unix/Linux Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

· System tunings to application-specific requirements. Systems standardization and automation.

· Keeping the UNIX environment compliant with the technology roadmap, such as OS & hardware upgrades, 3rd party software upgrades.

· Work on incident tickets and resolve in a timely manner.
