Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy within the global Civil Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater industries, are working exclusively alongside a Top 100 ENR Listed recognized leader, who are looking to hire an Office Business Leader as part of a key strategic hire for their growing division due to continued project work in the region area.
Our client provides leading & innovative design and planning solutions to large and complex civil infrastructure, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Location
This leadership role will be based out of Buffalo, NY.
Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the internal Leadership team, leveraging your project management and technical experience across Water and Wastewater, to oversee the client management and client development, contributing to the planning, strategic growth and planning of the division. Leading and managing both an established and growing team, identifying client development opportunities, overseeing existing client relationships, and supporting key leadership initiatives.
Responsibilities
The Office Business Leader opportunity will focus on:
- Provide technical support and assistance on project related issues, providing review and advice to help project delivery.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, monitoring plans, budgets, costs, and schedules, ensuring projects reach the financial budgets.
- Support and deliver business development and marketing proposals.
- Understand client requirements and needs, helping to deliver solutions and the development of projects.
- Review and manage work force planning requirements, undertaking staff development and retention.
- Occasional travel to other office sites across New York.
Requirements
- Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
- Demonstratable experience of managing clients across the Water/Wastewater/Stormwater or Industrial sectors.
- Demonstratable experience of client development, leading pursuit teams across Business Development opportunities within the Water/Wastewater sectors.
- Project Management and Project Leadership experience
