THE ROLE:
The Operational Excellence Analyst will support in championing initiatives aimed at optimizing operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within 24 Hour Home Care. This includes applying Lean Six Sigma principles and maintaining a high level of accountability to ensure consistent adherence to established workflows and procedures. The Operational Excellence Analyst contributes to driving organizational excellence and operational efficiency by conducting thorough data analysis and reporting, which informs decision-making and drives overall performance improvement.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Operational Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Conduct root cause analysis to address operational issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with different ops teams to understand their processes and identify needs, challenges, and requirements related to operational processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze data to measure key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Forecast effective solutions. Develop reports based on findings with recommendations for Manager review. Review divisional dashboards and impact reports.
- Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes, including workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure adherence to standardized procedures and regulatory guidelines while implementing operational changes and process improvements.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented initiatives, track performance metrics, and provide regular progress reports to management. Research and gather data utilizing resources, tools, automation, technology, and company platforms.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Support the Operational Excellence Manager in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence across the organization.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Qualification requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred (e.g., A+ certification required/strongly preferred)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Minimum 2 years of direct or related experience required in an analytical setting
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Business Intelligence tool experience preferred
Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate recorded data and business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo, creating constructive tension to foster growth and improvement.
- Must enjoy challenging opportunities to assist or co-design solutions to complex issues. Because the position requires strong testing of potential solutions, the OA must be willing to “roll up their sleeves” and aggressively test solutions. As this position will collaborate cross-departmental on a regular basis, must be a strong team member with the ability to form strong relationships quickly with key stakeholders that drive results.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be willing to work with challenging clients and partners when applicable. Must be willing to travel to locations as needed as part of DMAIC process when applicable.
This is a hybrid position, coming into our El Segundo office at least 1x a month.
