A Destination Management, Brand or Experiental Agency background is required.

Knowledge and Responsibilities
- Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of all departments and roles within a destination management company
- Apply critical and strategic thinking to directly drive the success of the team.
Examples:
-Ensure appropriate team members from across departments are at sites, events, and
meetings with clients and vendors to promote cross training + growth
-Knowing where the team is daily and making adjustments based on multiple factors. Ie.
-Client drop-in programs, limited team availability, business travel or heavy workloads)
- Knowing when to include Leadership members to support the team's success. Ie. key client interactions, site inspections, program touches on-site, RFP collaboration, vendor negotiations or troubleshooting
- Manage day-to-day needs such as time off
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively convey ideas and objectives to both internal teams and external clients.
- In-depth knowledge of the DMC industry with a keen understanding of market trends and
customer preferences.
- Professional and knowledgeable with hotel partners with the ability to sell the team, services and products based on their needs or clients requests.
- Strong desire to network and create industry connections for the department and company.
- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Ability to adapt to changing accordingly and proactively address challenges.
- Willingness to explore innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets and KPIs.
- Track record of successful project management and delivery.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with leaders from different departments

- Strong in general computer programs – Office such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, navigation including SharePoint, and most importantly, embrace and adapt to, quickly learn and encourage emerging technologies.
