We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Project Manager to lead the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, Workday HCM modules, and HR processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.


Hybrid Remote, Must be available to be local enough to come onsite to corporate HQ in Philadelphia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead end-to-end project management for Workday HCM implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to established timelines and cost constraints.
  • Workday HCM Expertise:
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and integration of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and external consultants to ensure the Workday HCM solution meets business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Provide expertise in Workday HCM functionalities, staying up-to-date with the latest features and enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders, providing status updates and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
  • Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including testing, validation, and user acceptance.
  • Manage change control processes and ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Post-Implementation Support:
  • Oversee the transition from project implementation to operational support, ensuring a smooth handover to the support teams.
  • Provide post-implementation support, addressing any issues or enhancements required by end-users.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Workday HCM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules and their application in HR processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and Workday reporting and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with global Workday HCM implementations and multi-country rollouts.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
