Sales Training Manager

Insight Global is currently hiring a Commercial Sales Training Manager for a specialty pharmaceutical company based in the Richmond, VA area. This will be a contract position until the end of the year but does have the possibility for extension or converting permanently afterwards This role will sit fully remote, preferably on eastern time, and will require traveling to Richmond for a couple days every 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with sales training as well as a background in the pharmaceutical industry.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, business, marketing or relevant discipline required
  • Minimum 3 years in formal healthcare or pharmaceutical sales, sales training, and/or sales training management required
  • High level of pharmaceutical compliance experience to support and coach daily activities relating to pharmaceutical compliance.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Training Manager will develop curriculum for several sales and marketing team members
  • Participate in the ongoing design and delivery of the Training and Development Programs for example Core Capabilities Training, selling skills enhancement, business and clinical acumen, etc.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop content and facilitation as required for managed markets and compliance policies
  • Provide risk-assessment tracking and other established mechanisms for risk assessment and in carrying out solutions
  • Work with leadership to understand and assess the field’s unmet needs and translate internally for appropriate follow up
  • Monitor, measure, and track success of the implementation of the curriculum
  • Effectively collaborate in cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and execute training support for unmet and ongoing needs
  • Development, execution, and/or support of specific Regional and Area Initiatives Training regiments
  • Responsible for managing training related expenses impacting overall training budget
