Director of Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and oversee company-wide compliance programs to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and other relevant laws
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate compliance risks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures
  • Manage and investigate compliance-related claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate compliance into all operational processes
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the company's policies and practices are updated accordingly
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and findings to senior management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory bodies and manage any external audits or inspections
  • Develop strategies and defenses to respond to and manage OSHA investigations
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Manage a small team of 1-2 staff


Director of Compliance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in compliance, risk management or a related area preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a compliance role, with 5+ years in a leadership position, preferably within the dental or healthcare industry
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, managing investigations and implementing compliance programs
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics
