divh2Procurement / Commodity Buyer/h2pWe are looking for a dedicated and analytical Procurement / Commodity Buyer to join our clients team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing various commodities while ensuring quality standards and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build supplier relationships and manage procurement strategies effectively./ppResponsibilities:/pulliSource and acquire diverse commodities such as electronic components, metal fabrication, injection molding, and packaging, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness./liliNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms./liliAnalyze market trends and assess supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions./liliCollaborate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of commodities./liliDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships, resolving any issues or concerns promptly./liliAssist in crafting and executing commodity sourcing strategies to optimize costs and mitigate risks./liliEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations./liliUtilize procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing processes and maintain accurate records./liliIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the procurement function./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliBachelors degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field./liliAt least 3 years of experience in commodity purchasing, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors./liliProven expertise in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management./liliStrong analytical abilities to evaluate market data and supplier performance./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with enterprise resource planning software./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration./liliAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team./liliKnowledge of commodity markets and trends, along with technical understanding of procurement processes./li/ulpRobert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
