Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance Associate to join our growing team, based in Summit, NJ. This role will be integral in securing financing, supporting financial planning & analysis, and working on strategic initiatives. The Strategic Finance Associate will report to the VP of Business Operations and collaborate closely with various departments, including Operations, Real Estate, and Marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Financing: Secure corporate and single asset financing facilities for new car wash locations, including sourcing lending partners, collaborating with brokers, preparing deal packages, reviewing lender due diligence questions, and driving financing processes.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and improve financial models related to store performance, budget, capital expenditures, liquidity, and other key areas of the business.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting, including MD&A and variance analyses to ensure high-quality and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with the executive team on various strategic initiatives, including evaluating M&A opportunities and providing Board updates.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including Real Estate, Operations, and Marketing to gather relevant information necessary for the on-going monitoring and optimization of the business.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic decision-making.


Desired Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, structured finance, development finance, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing presentations for senior leadership or board members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
