Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the systems engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

  • Develop and maintain system architectures, including hardware, software, and network components, to support AI-driven fall prevention solutions.

  • Ensure that systems are designed for scalability, reliability, and security, with a focus on real-time performance.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with system design, development, and deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and certification processes to ensure that systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Report on project status, timelines, and budgets to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and validation.
  • Experience in managing complex hardware and software integration projects.
  • Proficiency in systems modeling and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, real-time systems, and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning principles and their application in system design.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare, safety-critical systems, or IoT (Internet of Things) environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards related to medical devices or fall prevention systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for embedded and networked systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their integration with edge devices.
