PROJECT MANAGER


Who We Are

We are an experiential creative agency and live event production company based in Gurnee, IL producing more than 100 live and virtual events globally each year. Our team’s primary focus is supporting corporate meetings, experiential marketing events, product launches, trade shows and brand activations. Providing a unique blend of both creative and staging services, Sardis Media is a team of artists, producers and technology experts who bring amazing ideas to life on every project.


Who We Need

We are currently seeking a new member of the project manager team. As a project manager at Sardis, you will be responsible for all areas of the projects that are assigned to you including, technical, logistical, staffing, and more to maintain the highest quality of experience for the client and its attendees. You will work among an interdisciplinary team to create experiences in both physical and virtual environments. From concept to completion, your role centers around systems and procedures to ensure no detail is missed, and we are finding the most value for our clients while maximizing project profitability. The Project Manager must possess stellar communication and organizational skills.


Job Duties (include but not limited to)

  • Evaluate information with the Account Executive to review the scope of work for the project
  • Create drawings of the project using Vectorworks
  • Compile technical information to create show budgets and pull sheets
  • Travel to project sites to execute all elements of assigned projects as well as provide continuity with client planning teams
  • Visit venues, as required, for site survey to ensure that all logistics suit client needs as well as gather venue information to assist with planning
  • Interface with technicians ahead of time to ensure all required elements are covered
  • Work with Operations to ensure equipment accuracy and fulfill any substitutions necessary
  • Work with Operations to procure any necessary rentals from outside vendors
  • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with venue safety requirements
  • Organize and distribute show information to all parties involved with the event
  • Coordinate pre/post-production meetings internally or with client and crew as needed
  • Be positive and an advocate of the company and its process, staff and vision


Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Knowledge of live events technical systems (audio, video, lighting)
  • Project Management experience with corporate events
  • Vectorworks drafting experience
