My client is a leading General Contractor located in the Seaport of Boston working on High Profile Interiors projects throughout the city and surrounding suburbs. They have been in business since 2002 and acquired a commendable positive reputation in the market. They offer a great work life balance, flexible, positive culture, and put a large focus on making sure everyone in the company is happy and not over worked. Their bread and butter is High End Commercial Interiors, especially for offices within Boston, ranging from $1M - $10M.

Description

Assistant Project Manager - Corporate Interiors - Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Implement and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverable to ensure timely completion of all project phases.
  • Aid Project Management team in RFIs, Submittals, Change orders, and close out
  • Build and lead project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clear communication of project objectives and expectations.
  • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address design changes, scope adjustments, and project requirements.
  • Manage project communications, including progress reports, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project, ensuring effective stakeholder management.

Profile

Assistant Project Manager - Corporate Interiors - Successful Candidate:

  • 2+ years of experience in the Construction Industry, preferably experience with Downtown Boston Interiors
  • Demonstrates readiness for listed responsibilities
  • Have strong tenure at past firms you have been employed with
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Experience with Procore and/or other construction industry softwares
