Nightingale Senior Care is seeking Home Care Aide Caregivers for part-time hours. We have a Male client in Cerritos, this client will need a reliable caregiver who is comfortable with driving to help run errands(Valid driver license). Help with personal care to help with getting into the shower and out, and a caregiver to keep the client company (Companionship care). If you are a registered Home Care Aide looking for part-time hours near the Cerritos area this may be a job for you 

  • Job Type - Part-time
  • Pay Rate - $17-20 per hour 

 

Requirements

- HCA registration (Home Care Aid)

- Live Scan (Criminal Background Check)

- TB Test (Tuberculosis Test) or Chest X-RAY

- Minimum 2* years* of experience (Caring for Family Members Counts)

- Legally permitted to work in the US

- Reliable, dependable, compassionate and friendly

- Knowledge of memory impairment

- Licensed driver with reliable transportation preferred 

 

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate care to individuals
- Patience and empathy
- Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, Personal Care Assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor physical and mental well-being of our clients
- Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
