Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, The Senior Analyst will play a multidisciplinary role pulling marketing data, analyzing and interpreting that data, providing valuable insights, and helping to craft the analytical approach to our marketing strategic direction within the organization. You will need to possess strong analytical skills and technical aptitude, a keen attention to detail, a demonstrably strong desire to learn new areas as needed, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct thorough and accurate data analysis using various tools and methodologies.
- Interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure data accuracy.
Reporting And Visualization
- Generate clear and concise reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and presentations to support decision-making.
- Utilize data visualization tools to enhance the understanding of analytical results.
Forecasting And Modeling
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future trends and outcomes.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on business operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track organizational performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with departments across the organization to understand business needs.
- Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude. Experience with at least 1 major programming language (SQL, Python, R, SAS).
- Strong understanding of statistical foundations.
- Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience pulling data from a variety of sources and aptitude to learn additional sources as needed.
- Experience in digital marketing for a retail / restaurant / other consumer facing large organization.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
- Strong interest in consumer analytics and its underlying principles.
