Overview:

We are seeking part time dietitians to join our healthcare team. One position will require bilingual (Spanish/English). The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients meet their nutrition and lifestyle goals while improving all markers for health, have the knowledge base to dig down to find the root of the problem from a more holistic standpoint.


Responsibilities specifically for Registered Dietitian candidates:

  • ability to assess individuals with multiple complications and formulate a nutrition plan based on whole foods diet but also meeting the individual where they are
  • ability to take on a holistic approach to care working on finding the root of the problem and formulating a action plan to working on improving overall health of the client
  • have a good understanding of lifestyle medicine approach to care focusing on sleep, hydration, stress management, nutrition and physical activity
  • Provide individualized diabetes and nutrition education and counseling to patients
  • Conduct patient assessments to create tailored care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress in managing their health
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations
  • If CDCES or pump trainer, perform pump trainings with Medtronic, Omnipod, Beta Bionics and Tandem
  • Analyze and educate on CGM results and make recommendations to patient and care team on adjustments that would improve clients blood sugar and HbA1c


Required Qualifications:

  • Required Education and Licensure needed to practice in the state of Arizona. Bonus for multistate licensing as we work with individuals from the following states AK, CA, CO, CT, HI, ID, IL, IN, MA, MI, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OK, PA, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.
  • Experience in health coaching and patient education
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation
  • Understanding of physiology and its relation to diabetes
  • Ability to provide guidance on proper nutrition for patients with diabetes
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • Must have patience, compassion, understanding and flexibility to meet the the client where they are at

Job Type: Part-time


Pay: From $40.00 per hour for clinical time, separate admin rate provided for charting time and team meetings


Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week
