The Company:

Our client is a global diversified industrial manufacturer with a decentralized business model and multiple locations across the US. They are seeking an experienced VP Sales & Marketing to lead and oversee both the sales and marketing functions for their growing business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data-driven sales forecasting and industrial manufacturing.


The Opportunity:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.

- Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams to ensure they meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and competitors and develop the value proposition for the business and it’s products.

- Use data-driven insights to develop robust sales forecasting and implement marketing strategies to drive demand and generate leads.

- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that our products meet customer needs and align with market trends.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.

- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the executive team.

- Manage the sales and marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively.


What we are seeking:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing and related markets.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.

- Experience with data-driven sales forecasting and marketing analysis.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Excellent people leadership skills with focus on managing results vs activities.
