Construction Estimator- Position Overview: As a Construction Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and supporting our project management team to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate forecasting and financial management of our projects, helping us maintain our reputation for quality and reliability.


Construction Estimator- Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for a variety of ground-up construction projects, including commercial, retail, hospitality, and leisure.
  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop detailed and competitive estimates.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain and verify pricing information.
  • Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities within project scopes and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools to reflect current market conditions and pricing trends.
  • Support the bid process by preparing bid documents, participating in bid meetings, and providing technical expertise as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.


Construction Estimator- Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction estimator, with a proven track record of working on ground-up projects within the commercial, retail, hospitality, or leisure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
