The Project Estimator at Citadel Development Services LLC will be responsible for:
- Analyzing construction documents and plans to identify necessary trades, vendors, and subcontractors for sourcing and solicitation.
- Communicating project characteristics and requirements effectively to vendors and subcontractors.
- Researching and qualifying construction vendors and subcontractors across various sectors, including plumbing, electrical, excavation, and concrete services.
- Requesting pricing from these companies for multiple projects.
- Issuing Bid Invitations to subcontractors and vendors using CDS forms, including all relevant details.
- Following up with bidders to ensure timely receipt of pricing and bids in accordance with our schedule.
- Maintaining an organized database of vendors and subcontractors.
- Systematically organizing and filing bids and estimates as they are received.
- Distributing scopes of work for each trade when necessary.
- Evaluating bids for thoroughness and completeness.
- Entering line item costs from bids and estimates into budget worksheets.
Estimators will collaborate closely with project managers to oversee the bidding process involving vendors and subcontractors. Ideal candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in estimating for small to mid-sized projects, including ground-up and interior renovations in the restaurant, retail, and commercial sectors.

- Competence in presenting prepared estimates to management and stakeholders.
