Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Management Consultant to join our team in Atlanta, supporting a high-profile project. This is a Hybrid role with two potential offices options to report to. The ideal candidate will have interest in building relationships with the project management team and stakeholders. The project manager will possess a strong background in IT project management, with expertise in managing both infrastructure and application development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple company-wide projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Utilize solid organizational change management skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement and adoption.
  • Translate software development projects into agile methodologies, overseeing 2-week sprint cycles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing complex IT projects, including software development (primarily) and infrastructure.
  • Strong background in organizational change management, fostering stakeholder buy-in and adoption.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, capable of transitioning projects from traditional to agile frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, able to motivate teams and drive project success.
  • PMP certification is a plus, though not mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects through full lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
