The Sr. Technical Project Manager will provide technical project leadership and operational oversight for a wide-ranging portfolio of projects at Resilience. The preferred candidate thrives by creating quality + rigor in ambiguous environments and projects or programs while leveraging their expertise in a technical domain (example: manufacturing systems, laboratory systems, software development, cloud, infrastructure including storage / network / server, quality systems, ERP, ITSM, identity). They demonstrate skilled communication by breaking down technical nuances throughout their work by providing inputs to project and portfolio oversight, anticipating risk + issues and actively resolving them, connecting the right resources to needs, and removing impediments to doing great work. The do all of this as part of day-to-day project management, and execution of projects across the Digital Operations disciplines.  

Responsibilities 

·       Lead cross-functional teams to develop, plan and execute assigned projects 

·       Develop transparent and succinct communications that gain agreement and surface conflict that drive project / program delivery  

·       Own project delivery in its entirety, including action accountability, decision management and documentation, and project plan development 

·       Monitoring and maintaining project schedules; ensuring that project objectives are met, and project is on schedule and within budget 

·       Collaborate with team members to create and maintain detailed, integrated project plans; use plans to drive on-time release of supplies for multiple matrixed, complex programs 

·       Actively and consistently communicating with project stakeholders with status reports, project schedule updates, and project risks 

·       Contribute to the development of project management best practices for the team, including creation of templates and business process improvements 

·       Identify resource / equipment / skill set bottlenecks in the plan and developing solutions to the bottlenecks 

·       Lead problem resolution and/or risk mitigation 

·       Provide project management mentorship to peers and junior team members 

·       Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate project acceptance, documentation, and ongoing activities. This includes a post-implementation review to identify areas of future improvement 

·       Prioritize, assign, and organize work to enable the project team to deliver in an organized manner 

·       Create and manage the project planning within Atlassian tools and Smartsheet, when applicable 

Qualifications 

·       Demonstrated and consistent success in managing complex technical projects 

·       Diverse and deep experience in Project Management or equivalent with knowledge of global life sciences quality initiatives and direction. 

·       Agile Program Management Certifications, Certified Scrum Master or Project Management Professional credentials 

·       Results-oriented with the initiative to ensure that schedules and milestones are met across teams and projects 

·       Superior organizational/follow-up skills with effective capacity to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects without compromising on attention to detail 

·       Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills. 

·       Knowledge of GxP processes and systems. 

·       Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with high sense of urgency and drive for result to produce innovation, agility, and velocity to support business-as-usual operations and new project implementation and administration. 

Preferred Experience 

·       Demonstrated domain expertise in project / program management that pair technical knowledge with project execution (manufacturing systems, laboratory systems, software development, cloud, digital infrastructure, quality systems, ERP, ITSM, identity)

·       Proven experience using Agile Project management tools such as Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet or equivalent 

·       Demonstrable understanding of diverse software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, Pair Programming, and SAFe, plus the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit specific project and business objectives 

·       Experience with the Cloud preferably as a Cloud Practitioner in AWS and key approaches to security and change management/deployment (e.g. CI/CD, infrastructure as code - IaaCode) 

·       Builder mentality that seeks to produce innovation, agility, and velocity to support business-as-usual operations and new project implementation.
