Job Overview: This role is for a part-time (20 hours/week) Lab Manager for our clients Cellular Engineering Team to organize and support the R&D lab's operations, offering a dynamic role for organized and adaptable candidates with a passion for science and operations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee lab operations, ensuring efficient organization, equipment management, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with facilities for timely equipment maintenance, reducing downtime and maintaining research continuity.
- Streamline communication and workflow between scientists and operations, facilitate new scientist onboarding, and support digital lab documentation and safety standards.
Primary Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in science with 2+ years of industry-relevant lab management experience and a background in biological research.
- Exhibit strong organizational, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to enhancing lab efficiency in a dynamic setting.
- Capable of handling lab safety and regulatory compliance, with physical readiness for lab duties and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
