Summary


The Director, Financial Systems will be the go-to person for financial systems in CI, primarily with Workday but with potential to include other financial systems (i.e. Concur, Office Connect, LeaseQuery, etc) as we continue to expand our use of suitable technologies.


Responsibilities


  • Become the Finance champion for Workday Finance and adjacent financial systems; first and primary source of information for the business
  • Manage day-to-day system requests from the business
  • Lead automation/integration projects in areas (i.e. unutilized modules, integration with other softwares (Office Connect, etc.), building out additional capabilities) as they arise
  • Primary liaison with internal Workday counterparts, external service provider (Deloitte) and software vendors
  • Maintain sound system internal controls and proper segregation of duties as it pertains to business processes and roles, liaise with internal and external audit as necessary
  • Design and provide training and onboarding for new employees
  • Stay up to date on system developments and educate the business on new capabilities
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure efficient use of corporate resources


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Minimum 7 years of experience administering finance ERP systems for a large corporate company; dealing with multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation
  • Experience leading system implementation/upgrade projects
  • Solid finance operations knowledge to be able to connect between business needs and system capabilities
  • Collaborative; ability to solicit and connect team member’s feedback into actionable goals
  • High degree of organization and strong project manager; proven track record to drive timelines for deliverables
  • Persistent drive for continuous improvement and not settling for the status quo
  • Experience in asset management and/or wealth management desired; but not required
  • Experience with Workday.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
