Job Details

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and building systems.
3. Operating and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
4. Conducting inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
5. Working with PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems.
6. Collaborating with the engineering team to implement new machinery and systems.
7. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
8. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
9. Providing technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
10. Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.
2. Proven experience in building maintenance, machinery maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
3. Proficient in working with hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
4. Hands-on experience with PLC, including programming and troubleshooting.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and fix complex mechanical and electrical issues.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
8. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
9. A relevant certification or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
10. The willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
