We are currently seeking candidates for a Director of Manufacturing. Interested candidates should apply without delay as there is a high sense of urgency to fill this position. This is a full-time, onsite position. Some international travel may be required as needed.
About the Position: This person will be a key member of the leadership team and will manage all site operations at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This includes overseeing talent acquisition and development, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving top performance and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular staff meetings (Quality, R&D, Production, HR/Finance)
- Lead initiatives in Continuos Improvement (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Provide leadership through goal setting, performance reviews, and team activities
- Develop and manage operational plans and budgets for all departments
- Establish and maintain operating standards
- Develop departmental goals aligned with company objectives
- Oversee shop floor scheduling to meet marketing forecasts
- Ensure staff training and compliance with SOPs and cGMP
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment with proper EHS training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading pharmaceutical manufacturing operations
- Ability to build and lead teams to meet goals
- Excellent management and delegation skills
