Must have a Tennessee State Pharmacy License in good standing
Must have recently inpatient care experience
IV experience highly preferred

DUTIES:
Pharmacist will be responsible for include but are not limited to:
Perform tasks related to medication dispensing
Maintains drug inventory level commensurate with utilization with feedback
Review daily charts
Handle Pyxis fills
Triages patients to other providers as necessary
Discusses possible side effects and interactions
Manage hospice prescription checks
Takes responsibility for organizing drug information resources in the pharmacy department
Educate and counsel patients and caregivers regarding medication
Provide drug information services to providers and consumers
Serve as pharmacy representative to health center committees
Provide support with student preceptor programs
